Since 1988, Roy S. McCandless has been practicing law in New England, handling key cases at his firm and for the state’s top law firms. From securing a large, justified settlement in one of New Hampshire’s most serious wrongful death cases, to researching, arguing, and winning one of the most contentious land cases, or crafting a successful appeal for a client after a lower court defeat, Roy has proved himself to be the lawyer to call when you need help.
A Phi Beta Kappa graduate and the salutatorian of the Class of 1984 at Dartmouth College, Roy went on to graduate from Harvard Law School in 1988 with honors. Roy is admitted to practice law in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, and he is a member of the American Bar Association; the Christian Legal Society; and the New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts Bar Associations.
A dedicated family man, Roy and wife Sue have four children, one dog and one cat. They make their home in Concord, New Hampshire, love the outdoors, and enjoy their involvement in local church and civic activities. Roy enjoys playing guitar, sports, and training for half marathons with his daughter.
